Anneka Ruwolt advises on personnel recruitment, the selection process, the conception and drafting of employment contracts, data protection issues, the change or termination of employment relationships and the dismissal of board members. She accompanies her clients during restructuring, e.g. business alterations and transfer of business, in collective bargaining and works constitution law and conducts negotiations with company partners (employees and works councils) and trade unions together with her clients.
Anneka Ruwolt regularly supports employees, managers and executives, especially in separation situations and when changing employers. She also advises and represents employees, consultants and freelancers on all labour law issues.
She leads negotiations to settle disputes outside of court or, if necessary, through all judicial instances.
Anneka Ruwolt regularly conducts training courses and seminars as a lecturer on labour law topics. She is co-author of the book “Die professionelle Personalauswahl in der öffentlichen Verwaltung ” 2010, published by Boorberg Verlag.
Anneka Ruwolt was born and raised in Hamburg in 1969.
After a one-year stay abroad in France, she completed an apprenticeship as a costume tailor at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, which she successfully completed with the journeyman’s examination.
She studied law at the universities in Freiburg, Dresden and Hamburg.
During her studies she worked as an intern at the Treuhandanstalt Direktion Dresden, the personnel department of the Lüneburg administration and at the Arbeitgeberverband Nordmetall der Metall- und Elektroindustrie e.V., specializing in labour law.
Anneka Ruwolt was admitted to the bar in 2002.
2009 she also is a specialised attorney for labour law (Fachanwältin für Arbeitsrecht).
After working in the employment department of Jacobsen & Confurius Law Firm in Hamburg, she moved to Berlin in 2005 and has been part of the Weimann & Meyer team since then.
